The exhibition arrives as industries shift from purely digital AI applications toward systems that perceive and manipulate the physical world. Messe Düsseldorf will serve as the venue for 300 technology providers to showcase solutions ranging from industrial sensors and machine vision to humanoid robotics and digital twins. Organizers anticipate 15,000 trade visitors, specifically seeking to bridge the gap between emerging AI agents and legacy manufacturing or energy infrastructure.
WITEX 2027 to Launch Physical AI Hub in Düsseldorf
Düsseldorf will host the inaugural World Intelligent Technology Exhibition from May 12–14, 2027, as global developers look to integrate artificial intelligence into industrial hardware. Organized by the World AIoT Innovation Alliance, the event targets the convergence of perception, robotics, and computing for the European market.

Beyond the exhibition floor, the event includes the Global Physical AI Industry Summit and specialized matchmaking sessions for Sino-European partnerships. The program is structured into four primary pillars: perception and connectivity, computing and reasoning, execution and interaction, and system simulation. Support from international bodies like IoT Italy and AIoT Canada underscores the event's focus on scaling cross-border industrial automation. Stand bookings and pre-registration are currently open for those looking to secure space at the May 2027 gathering.
