Mike Fiato, Executive Vice President and Chief Claims Officer at Allstate, emphasized that company teams are positioned to expedite the recovery process for those impacted. Customers are encouraged to initiate claims as soon as conditions allow, either through the company’s mobile application, website, or via the 1-800-54-STORM hotline. Documentation remains a priority; the insurer advises residents to capture photos or videos of property damage and secure receipts for any emergency repairs performed to prevent further loss.
Allstate Deploys Mobile Claims Centers to Assist Hurricane Isaias Victims
With Hurricane Isaias leaving a trail of damage across the Southeast, Allstate has launched a localized recovery effort in Alabama and Florida. The insurer is staffing five mobile claims centers to provide face-to-face assistance for policyholders while urging residents to remain vigilant against post-storm fraud schemes.

The mobile units are operating in Dothan and Enterprise, Alabama, as well as Destin and Pensacola, Florida. These sites serve as hubs for filing claims and obtaining immediate guidance on navigating insurance policies. Because disaster zones often attract predatory actors, the company is also warning policyholders to scrutinize unsolicited contractors. Residents should avoid individuals demanding large upfront payments or those claiming government endorsement, as these are common hallmarks of post-disaster fraud. Beyond direct claims support, the Allstate Foundation has directed contributions to the American Red Cross and the Center for Disaster Philanthropy to bolster regional resilience efforts.
