The facility focuses on module-level diagnostics and repair, allowing technicians to fix specific components rather than replacing entire battery packs. This shift is designed to curb costs for fleet operators and insurance providers while minimizing industrial waste. The collaboration builds on a relationship between the two companies dating back to 2018, when YES-EU became CATL's inaugural European service partner.
YES-EU and CATL Launch Massive Battery Service Hub in Oslo
Spanning over 10,000 square meters, a new service center in Oslo has opened its doors to become the largest high-voltage battery facility in Europe. The site, a strategic partnership between YES-EU and CATL’s aftermarket brand NING Service, aims to centralize battery lifecycle management across the continent.

With Norway serving as a testbed—where 94% of new vehicle registrations are electric—the location provides a strategic base for YES-EU’s broader expansion. The company currently operates in 14 countries and has completed over 1,800 battery work orders to date. CEO Pierre Savoy noted that the firm plans to scale its reach to more than 20 countries, establishing a network of over 100 specialized workshops to support the growing fleet of CATL-powered electric buses and heavy-duty trucks across Europe.
