The estimate identifies 4.2 million pounds of indicated U3O8 and 10.1 million pounds of inferred U3O8, alongside substantial vanadium deposits. These findings cover only about 4.3% of the project's total land area, suggesting considerable room for expansion. Jaguar CEO Steven Gold described the results as a landmark milestone that validates the scale of the surficial deposit.
Jaguar Uranium Quantifies Laguna Salada Resources in Argentina
Jaguar Uranium Corp. has released its maiden independent mineral resource estimate for the Laguna Salada project in Argentina’s Chubut Province. The assessment, compliant with SEC and NI 43-101 standards, confirms a significant footprint of uranium and vanadium across 210,284 hectares, positioning the site as a potential key supplier for Western markets.
To support further development, the company plans a targeted work program including sonic drilling and infill pitting to upgrade inferred resources. With nearly US$18 million in cash and no debt, the firm remains well-positioned to advance exploration. The project's mineralization, primarily carnotite found in unconsolidated gravels, is considered potentially amenable to low-cost open-pit extraction and physical beneficiation. A formal technical report detailing these findings is expected to be filed within 45 days.
