The multi-site program, conducted in partnership with Vibra Healthcare, tracked 177 rehabilitation episodes among 172 adults, most of whom were recovering from strokes. Participants completed an average of 174 minutes of active training per week, with 84% of the sessions performed independently without direct therapist supervision. Beyond the increase in volume, patients demonstrated statistically significant clinical gains, including an average 10.4-point rise on the Barthel Index and a 10.5-point improvement in balance scores.
MindMaze Data Shows Threefold Surge in Home-Based Rehab Intensity
Patients using MindMotion technology achieved a threefold increase in motor-training dosage compared to traditional outpatient care, according to new data presented at the American Congress of Rehabilitation Medicine. The study highlights how independent, gamified sessions can bridge the gap in neurorehabilitation once patients leave clinical settings.

These findings serve as a strategic precursor to the upcoming launch of MindMotion Lite, a tablet-based solution designed to lower hardware barriers for home use. MindMaze Therapeutics CEO Zach Henderson noted that the results align with 2026 American Heart Association guidelines, which emphasize the need for sustained, high-intensity therapy after hospital discharge. By shifting to a more accessible platform, the company intends to address the chronic shortage of specialized clinicians while maintaining the efficacy of its neurotherapeutic software.
