The X9e Pro marks the first time HONOR has introduced a Pro designation to its X Series, signaling a shift toward high-end specifications in a rugged form factor. Beyond its massive battery capacity—which the company claims supports up to three days of mixed use—the device features an 85°C high-temperature resistance rating. This thermal tolerance is paired with a 6.8-inch 1.5K 120Hz display, which utilizes hardware-level dimming to maintain visibility in varied lighting conditions.

The camera system includes specialized software for underwater color correction, allowing for vibrant captures beneath the surface. For productivity, the device integrates Google Gemini and AI-driven interface adjustments, such as "FreeGrip," which optimizes on-screen controls based on the user's hand orientation. The handset is scheduled to launch in four finishes: Deep Purple, Reddish Brown, Dawn Gold, and Midnight Black.
