The litigation, Michigan Laborers' Pension Fund v. Doximity, Inc., alleges that company executives violated the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 by overstating the influence of the firm’s Newsfeed on financial performance. Plaintiffs claim Doximity masked the reality that it was losing market share to competitors who employed more effective pricing and engagement strategies, relying instead on basic banner ads and e-newsletters.
Stock prices suffered three distinct declines following disclosures from the company. On November 6, 2025, shares dropped 13% after management signaled a slowdown in sales. A subsequent reduction in revenue guidance on February 5, 2026, triggered a 17% decline. The final blow occurred on May 13, 2026, when the company missed its lowered revenue targets and projected decelerated growth for the 2027 fiscal year, leading to a 23% share price drop.
