Christina Hage, CEO of MHS, identified employment as a foundational element of long-term health. The initiative arrives as the state prepares for new federal eligibility standards under H.R.1, which may require certain Medicaid recipients to satisfy work or community engagement mandates. The program expands on the existing MHS Serves framework, which previously invested $1.2 million across 19 organizations to address social drivers of health, such as digital access and youth mental health support.
