Tuesday Health Partners with Commonwealth Care Alliance in Massachusetts
Starting July 1, 2026, Tuesday Health will integrate its community-based palliative care model into the Commonwealth Care Alliance network, focusing on high-need populations across Massachusetts. The collaboration targets dual-eligible Medicare and Medicaid enrollees, providing interdisciplinary medical and social support directly within patients' homes to improve long-term outcomes and quality of life.
"After nearly two decades caring for patients with serious illness in the greater Boston area, I've seen firsthand what consistent, community-based palliative care can do for patients and their families," said Mihir Kamdar, Chief Medical Officer of Tuesday Health. The program reflects a broader shift among health plans toward provider-led models that prioritize home-based clinical intervention over traditional facility-based care. For CCA, the move aligns with their mission to address the complex social and medical needs of their members, while Tuesday Health leverages its expertise to manage the logistical and emotional challenges families face during end-of-life care.
