Webflow Co-founder Bryant Chou Launches AI Growth Platform Ploy

Bryant Chou, the former CTO of Webflow, is moving to automate the marketing stack with Ploy, an AI-driven platform that handles web design, copywriting, and campaign management. The San Francisco-based startup emerged from stealth today with $27 million in seed funding led by First Round Capital and Y Combinator.

Ploy functions as an autonomous engine for company websites, aiming to transform static pages into active marketing participants. The platform manages the end-to-end technical workload—designing landing pages, executing campaigns, and syncing performance data directly into CRM systems. By operating in the background, the software intends to eliminate the friction between conceptualizing a marketing idea and seeing it deployed live.

Early adopters are already utilizing the platform for high-volume tasks. Hex leverages Ploy to scale enterprise account-based marketing pages, while Clay uses the system to generate hundreds of programmatic SEO pages. For agencies like Tonik and TNT Growth, the platform serves as a production layer, allowing teams to manage site infrastructure across dozens of client accounts simultaneously.

Chou argues that the rise of AI search and autonomous browsing agents makes a company’s website more critical than ever. According to the founder, websites can no longer remain static brochures; they must function as living assets that respond to market demands. Ploy is currently hiring across its San Francisco and New York offices as it transitions to general availability.
