The Mersive Tablet functions as a VTC-agnostic controller, allowing users to initiate meetings with a single touch without needing to connect a personal device. By integrating directly with the Mersive Pod and existing room displays, the interface supports seamless transitions between platforms like Zoom and Microsoft Teams. It preserves critical meeting functions—such as chat, hand raising, and polling—directly on the tablet’s screen, effectively removing the need for in-room participants to join calls from their laptops to share content.
CEO Damian Blazy stated that the system is designed to restore ease to collaboration by removing the technical burden from in-room participants. The architecture centers on "meeting parity," ensuring that remote and in-person attendees view the same content simultaneously. The system also supports Mersive’s multi-share capability, allowing various content sources to appear on both the physical display and the remote video window in real time.
