ALTOUR Launches Digital Marketplace to Streamline SMB Travel Management

Growing businesses often face a choice between unmanaged travel and overly complex enterprise systems. ALTOUR aims to bridge this gap with ALTOUR One, a digital-first platform designed to provide mid-sized companies with the buying power of a major corporation while eliminating the administrative burden of traditional managed travel programs.

The platform leverages ALTOUR’s 20 billion dollars in annual buying power to grant users access to over 2.6 million supplier partners, 400 airlines, and 1 million hotels. By centralizing booking, policy enforcement, and reporting into a single interface, the company claims businesses can reduce travel leakage and achieve up to 20 percent in cost savings. The system integrates directly with Engine to offer prepaid refundable rates, providing flexibility alongside reduced pricing.

Designed for rapid implementation, ALTOUR One requires minimal IT setup and functions without the need for a dedicated travel manager. The platform features a real-time stoplight policy system that guides employees through company guidelines at the point of purchase. Gabe Rizzi, President of ALTOUR, noted that the tool is built to offer the visibility and control growing organizations need without the overreach typically found in large-scale travel programs. Beyond booking, the platform includes 24/7 U.S.-based support, expense management tools, and automated recovery for unused airline credits.
