Moving from its longtime Lair Hill home, the National University of Natural Medicine has established a new urban footprint at 1621 SW 1st Ave. The transition, officially celebrated with a ribbon-cutting on June 26, marks seven decades of the institution’s history while anchoring its operations in the heart of the city.
While the main campus has transitioned downtown, the institution’s primary care health center remains at the Lair Hill location. University leadership plans to expand the new campus with a clinical simulation center and a 'Food as Medicine' kitchen, though these additions depend on future funding. The move reinforces the school’s long-standing mission of training integrative healthcare professionals, aiming to improve service access for underserved populations as the institution enters its eighth decade.
