Clean Express Auto Wash Drops Shaker Square Expansion Plans
After facing pushback from local residents, Clean Express Auto Wash has officially withdrawn its application to build a new facility at Shaker Square. The Cleveland-based operator, a subsidiary of Express Wash Concepts, stated it chose to scrap the proposal to respect the neighborhood’s distinct vision for the historic site’s future.

Clean Express Auto Wash currently operates 20 locations across the Greater Cleveland area. Despite this setback, the brand intends to continue its search for expansion opportunities within the region. The firm maintains that its primary focus remains on providing affordable, environmentally responsible services while creating local employment opportunities in the communities it serves.
