The collaboration targets the complex requirements of Germany’s LDCT-based lung cancer screening, which became eligible for statutory health insurance reimbursement in April 2026. National guidelines mandate double reading by independent institutions, longitudinal follow-up, and strict quality assurance. The integration of AVIEW into mint Lesion allows radiologists to process automated pulmonary nodule detection alongside structured reporting, Lung-RADS classifications, and volume doubling time calculations within a single, vendor-neutral interface.
Coreline Soft and Mint Medical Merge AI and Reporting for Lung Screening
After six months of technical integration, Seoul-based Coreline Soft and Germany’s Mint Medical have finalized a partnership to automate lung cancer screening workflows. By embedding Coreline’s AVIEW AI platform into the mint Lesion reporting system, the companies aim to meet the rigorous clinical demands of Germany’s national screening program.

Coreline Soft’s AVIEW platform has already seen use in 2.5 million clinical reads across 19 countries, including major European initiatives like the HANSE project in Germany. Beyond nodule detection, the software provides opportunistic analysis for COPD and coronary artery calcification. According to Mint Medical Managing Director Onur Özek, the partnership streamlines the transition from raw AI detection to clinical documentation, offering a scalable model for other international healthcare systems adopting standardized screening protocols. By consolidating detection, reporting, and follow-up, the companies seek to reduce manual radiologist workloads while maintaining consistency across multi-site operations.
