The expansion into Antelope Valley represents a strategic move for the network, which has spent over a year preparing for the regulatory shift. The new campus will offer families a choice between full classroom instruction, independent study, or hybrid schedules. To support this growth, iLEAD is deepening its partnership with School Pathways, continuing to use the software provider's student information system for enrollment, state reporting, and administrative workflows.
iLEAD Schools Targets California Expansion with New Lancaster Campus
Following the January 2026 expiration of California’s moratorium on non-classroom-based charter schools, the iLEAD network is launching iLEAD Flex in Lancaster. The TK–12 campus, scheduled to open this August, aims to serve 750 students by utilizing specialized compliance infrastructure to manage its hybrid and independent study models.

Beyond basic academics, the Lancaster facility plans to integrate dual enrollment programs with local community colleges and career technical education tracks. This opening is a significant step in iLEAD’s ten-year initiative to reach 10,000 students statewide. With the new campus, the network’s total enrollment will climb to nearly 7,000 learners, setting the stage for the launch of iLEAD Innovate in 2027, which will mark the network's first expansion outside of Los Angeles County.
