Omnicom Media Secures Top Global Ranking Following IPG Integration

With $75.6 billion in total billings, Omnicom Media has officially claimed the title of the world’s largest media management organization. The COMvergence report for 2025 confirms the network’s dominant scale, placing it $11.8 billion ahead of its closest rival, WPP, following the acquisition of IPG Mediabrands.

The rankings reflect the first full-year assessment of the combined organization since Omnicom finalized its acquisition of IPG in November 2025. Beyond its global lead, the firm captured a 31% share of total billings managed by major media groups. North America proved to be a primary engine for this growth, with $35.9 billion in billings, while the network also secured the top spot in Latin America with $2.3 billion. Major client wins in 2025, including Amazon, Paramount, and Volvo, further solidified this position.

Florian Adamski, CEO of Omnicom Media, described the scale as a strategic lever for client outcomes rather than a mere metric. "It gives us greater access to data, stronger partnerships with the world's leading media and technology companies, and more leverage to create better business outcomes," Adamski stated. Within this portfolio, the OMD agency network maintained its individual dominance, managing $26.9 billion in billings globally and topping rankings in key markets including the USA, Australia, Canada, and Hong Kong.

Looking toward the remainder of 2026, the firm shows no signs of slowing. Real-time data from COMvergence indicates Omnicom Media has already secured $2.5 billion in new billings in the first half of the year, with notable wins such as Delta, Dyson, and IBM. With more than half of these figures representing incremental business, the network continues to lead the industry in net new growth.
