More than 139 franchise owners and caregivers gathered in Omaha for the Ignite 2026 convention, a pivotal assembly that underscored the brand's integration into the global Dovida network. The three-day event centered on scaling operations while reinforcing a people-first strategy across the company’s expanding national footprint.

The convention, held May 6–8, served as a platform for leadership to outline a unified vision following the recent acquisition of A Place At Home by Dovida, the world’s largest provider of home care services. Group CEO Paul Fritz and North America CEO Mike Boyer joined other executives to discuss how global support systems will bolster local franchise performance in areas ranging from sales systems to caregiver retention.

Dustin Distefano, COO of Franchise Operations, emphasized that the strength of the brand lies in combining local leadership with the vast resources now available through the Dovida partnership. The event featured workshops and roundtables designed to refine operational excellence, with a heavy emphasis on the company’s 'We Are CARE' philosophy.

Beyond strategic planning, the conference recognized standout performers across the franchise system. Natalie Watts of Little Rock, AR, emerged as a dominant force, securing the Top Producer, Top Performer, and Top Client Satisfaction awards. Other notable honorees included Fatema Kapasi of Dublin, OH, named Franchise Leader of the Year, and Ashia Sells of Lafayette, LA, who was recognized as the National Caregiver of the Year for her exceptional commitment to client care. The ceremony also highlighted resilience and spirit, awarding Marc Morris of Cypress, TX, with the Resilience Award and Paul Jenney Jr. with the Dina Jenney Spirit Award.
