Manav Sharma, CEO of Nordex North America, emphasized that the project utilizes hardware manufactured locally in Iowa, highlighting the company’s strategy of integrating 'Made in USA' production with their established Delta4000 technology. Nordex Secures 325 MW Wind Turbine Order in the United States
The Nordex Group has finalized a contract to supply 55 N163/5.X turbines for an undisclosed wind project in the United States. This 325 MW installation adds to the company’s growing domestic footprint as it continues to leverage its manufacturing facilities in Iowa to meet regional energy demand.

Since 1985, the Hamburg-based group has commissioned over 64 GW of wind capacity globally. The company reported consolidated sales of approximately 7.6 billion euros in 2025 and maintains a manufacturing presence spanning Germany, Spain, Brazil, India, and the United States. Nordex continues to focus on turbines in the 4 to 7 MW+ range, specifically engineered for markets with constrained grid capacity and limited land availability.
