Absolute Radiois a British digital radio station owned and operated by Bauer Media Audio UK, and is a core part of the Absolute Radio Network, which includes sister stations like Absolute Radio 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s, 00s, and Absolute Classic Rock. It broadcasts nationally across the UK via digital audio broadcasting (DAB), online streaming, and digital TV platforms.

Originally launched in 1993 as Virgin Radio, the station was rebranded to Absolute Radio in 2008.

Known for its distinctive mix of alternative rock, indie music, and classic guitar-led tracks, Absolute Radio caters to music fans who prefer a curated, less mainstream playlist. It is also popular for its no-repeat guarantee, ensuring songs aren’t repeated during the working day.
