The transition comes as SciBase shifts focus toward solidifying its presence in the American market and securing reimbursement for its Nevisense skin cancer diagnostic platform. Jesper Hoiland, Chairman of the Board, credited Renaudin with restructuring the organization to better leverage the company’s AI-driven technology. The company confirmed that its overarching strategy, including the ongoing collaboration with Castle Biosciences, remains unchanged.
Pia Renaudin to Step Down as SciBase CEO
After nearly three years at the helm of Stockholm-based medical technology firm SciBase, CEO Pia Renaudin has informed the board of her decision to vacate the position. Renaudin will continue to lead the company through the end of 2026 as it searches for her successor and pursues U.S. market expansion.

Renaudin noted that the company has reached a stable phase, making it an appropriate time for new leadership to take charge. While the board has officially initiated a search for a new chief executive, the current management team and the U.S. division, overseen by Leda Beaty, will maintain operational continuity. Renaudin is set to transition into a new CEO role elsewhere starting in 2027.
