Bird&Be and Mandell's Pharmacy Partner to Bridge Fertility Care Gaps

With nearly half of U.S. counties lacking access to OB-GYNs and only 1,400 reproductive endocrinologists practicing nationwide, the fertility care system is under severe strain. Bird&Be is now addressing this deficit by partnering with Mandell's Clinical Pharmacy to distribute doctor-recommended supplements directly to patients undergoing active treatment.

The collaboration leverages Mandell's extensive network to reach fertility patients where they are most vulnerable. By integrating Bird&Be’s third-party tested formulations into clinical recommendations, the companies aim to provide reliable, science-backed support for those navigating IVF, IUI, and fertility preservation. This move follows a period of rapid growth for Bird&Be, which saw its clinician-referred customer channel expand by 200% year-over-year.

Mandell’s, a family-owned pharmacy licensed in all 50 states, serves as a critical touchpoint for patients who often struggle to find consistent, high-quality guidance. Terry Malanda, co-founder and VP of operations at Mandell’s, noted that the pharmacy selected Bird&Be specifically due to the rigorous research behind its product line. For patients facing "fertility deserts"—regions where reproductive health services are scarce—this partnership ensures that specialized supplements are available through trusted clinical channels rather than just retail shelves. The initiative reinforces a shift toward integrating wellness products directly into the medical protocols managed by reproductive endocrinologists and naturopathic specialists.
