Moving beyond simple query-response models, Denver-based Pathify has launched a next-generation AI agent designed to execute complex campus workflows. The platform now allows students and faculty to complete administrative tasks directly through chat, while granting universities centralized control over data governance and third-party agent integration.
To ensure reliability, the platform employs human-confirmed workflows for critical actions. An orchestration layer routes user requests to the most relevant specialized agent, whether it originates from Pathify or a third-party developer. Security remains a priority, with the company confirming that institutions retain full ownership of conversation data, which is explicitly barred from being used to train external models. The platform currently supports SOC 2, FERPA, and GDPR compliance standards, with plans to expand to omnichannel messaging, including SMS and mobile apps, by 2027.
