VicBlends Launches BetterDays Grooming Line

Celebrity barber Victor Fontanez and veteran executive Joey Thomas have debuted BetterDays, a haircare line designed to bring professional barbershop standards to home grooming. Backed by $7 million in funding, the brand focuses on texture-inclusive products for wavy, curly, and coily hair while emphasizing mental wellness and community connection.

The brand launches with two flagship products: the Rebound Cream leave-in conditioner and the Grip Powder styling agent, both priced at $20. These formulations utilize premium ingredients like shea butter and arrowroot powder, aiming to address a significant representation gap in the men's grooming aisle. By catering specifically to 3A–4C hair types, the founders intend to move beyond the industry standard of one-size-fits-all products.

VicBlends, who built a following of over 23 million across social media, views the venture as an extension of his community work, which includes opening a licensed barber school at California's Valley State Prison. CEO Joey Thomas, known for his work with DUDE Wipes, is spearheading the brand's retail strategy. The company is currently supported by investors including Maveron, Will Ventures, and rapper Lil Baby, with products now available via Amazon, TikTok Shop, and their official website.
