Since 2023, employees at the Fresno-based staffing firm have dedicated their yearly donation efforts to Jensen, whose father, Jason, first shared the boy’s medical journey with the team. The connection has evolved into a community tradition, bolstered by the theme, "Don’t Let the Blood Supply Fall." Participants this year included staff, friends, and family members, all contributing to a supply chain that remains vital for regional patients.
PrideStaff Blood Drive Honors Local Child’s Recovery Journey
When Jensen Blanks was born prematurely, he relied on blood transfusions to survive his earliest days. Now a first grader thriving in school, his story has become the heartbeat of PrideStaff’s annual blood drive, an event that recently exceeded its participation goals to support local patients in need.

Jensen has hit significant recovery milestones since the tradition began, including the removal of his tracheostomy in 2024. Today, he is active in school and exploring creative interests like photography and music. Jason Blanks expressed gratitude for the ongoing support, noting that the act of donating provides families with hope that goes beyond words. Co-CEO Tammi Heaton emphasized that while exceeding donor targets was a corporate achievement, the true value lies in the long-term impact on community health and the ability to help others reach their own milestones.
