The Glendale campus, situated at 8990 W. Glendale Ave., spans 53,000 square feet and is slated to open in 2027, pending regulatory approval.

With over 25 years of leadership experience in higher education, Mark Garland has been appointed Campus President of the new Concorde Career Colleges facility in Glendale. His arrival marks a strategic expansion for the healthcare-focused division of Universal Technical Institute as it prepares to enter the Arizona market.

The facility aims to accommodate more than 620 students annually, offering vocational training in fields including nursing, dental hygiene, surgical technology, and radiologic technology. This expansion represents the sixth Concorde location in the Southwest and serves as a pillar of Universal Technical Institute’s "North Star" initiative, a multi-year strategy designed to address national shortages in skilled healthcare labor. Garland noted that his immediate priorities include building a high-performing staff and establishing employer partnerships to meet regional workforce demands.
